LA Philharmonic Announces Revisions to 2011 Season

The programs for the Los Angeles Philharmonic concerts scheduled for Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2 and Thursday and Friday, October 20 and 21; as well as the concerts that open the American Orchestra series hosted at Davies Symphony Hall by the San Francisco Symphony, Sunday, October 23, and Monday, October 24, have been changed. Stravinsky's Symphony in C, originally scheduled for September 30 - October 2, and October 24, has been replaced by Esteban Benzecry's Rituales Amerindios, and the two works by John Adams - Short Ride in a Fast Machine and Tromba lontana - have been switched.
