The following information for Reel Talk with Stephen Farber has just been announced:

December 13:  CASINO JACK. Two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey stars as disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff in this raucous, darkly comic look at corruption in Washington.  Barry Pepper, Jon Lovitz, and Kelly Preston co-star. 

Guest speakers: executive producer Donald Zuckerman and actor Jon Lovitz.

Stephen Farber, one of the country's leading film critics and historians, continues his film series Reel Talk with Stephen Farber at the Wadsworth Theatre for 12 Monday nights beginning September 20. Reel Talk with Stephen Farber is presented in partnership with RICHMARK Entertainment and Landmark Theatres.

As a reminder,  here are the other remaining titles for November and December:

December 6:  RABBIT HOLE.  Writer David Lindsay-Abaire adapts his poignant, Pulitzer Prize-winning play for the screen.  John Cameron Mitchell directs Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, Aaron Eckhart, and Oscar winner Dianne Wiest in this eloquent study of grief and recovery.  Guest speakers will include director John Cameron Mitchell.

BONUS SCREENING Wednesday, December 15:  HOW DO YOU KNOW. The latest comedy-drama from Oscar-winning writer-director James L. Brooks (Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News, As Good As It Gets) stars Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Jack Nicholson, Owen Wilson, and Kathryn Hahn.  Guest speakers: producer Laurence Mark (Jerry Maguire, Dreamgirls, Julie & Julia) and actress Kathryn Hahn.

Unlike any other preview series, Reel Talk with Stephen Farber allows the film going public to be the first to sample some of the most exciting movies of 2010. Over the last several years, Reel Talk members have had a chance to see several of the major Academy Award winning and nominated films, including "Slumdog Millionaire", "Up in the Air," "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "The Young Victoria,"  "Julie  & Julia, ""The Last Station," "Departures," "The Secret in Their Eyes," "In the Loop", and "The Cove."  The tradition continues this fall, with the season's most provocative movies followed by revealing discussions with top actors and filmmakers after the screenings.  Previous Reel Talk guests have included America Ferrera, Jane Lynch, Michael Caine, Michael Sheen, Laura Linney, Nia Vardalos, John Cusack, Javier Bardem, Claire Danes, as well as major directors James Ivory, Todd Phillips, John Singleton, Jason Reitman, Donald Petrie, Bill Condon, Mira Nair, and Mike Leigh, not to mention legendary producer Richard Zanuck.
