Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ("The Wallis") presents actress, singer and comedian Jane Lynch for two performances, on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2 at 8:00 pm. In her show, See Jane Sing! (With Jane Lynch), Lynch brings her comic skills and musical prowess to the theater stage for a sidesplitting evening of musical comedy, with more than a dash of wit as she explores her love of the beauty and absurdity of the American standard and show tune.

Lynch earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress, a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, and a SAG award nomination for her role as Sue Sylvester on the hit Fox series "Glee," and won another Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality Program for "Hollywood Game Night." A talented singer as well as an actress and comedian, Lynch recently appeared on Broadway as Miss Hannigan in Annie. She began her career in Chicago at Second City and Steppenwolf Theatre.

"We are delighted to bring to The Wallis one of the most beloved, talented and versatile performers of our time," said Patricia Wolff, Interim Artistic Director of The Wallis. "Those who are most familiar with Jane Lynch as a comedic TV and film actress are in for a treat, because she's also an accomplished vocalist and stage performer - a true 'triple threat' who inspires and enthralls all those fortunate enough to see her live on stage."

Lynch served as the host for the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards; her other television credits include the STARZ series "Party Down" and appearances on "Desperate Housewives," "Weeds" and "The L Word" opposite Cybill Shepherd. She also appeared in recurring roles on "Two and a Half Men" (for which she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress), "Criminal Minds" and The New Adventures of Old Christine."

Her film credits include A.C.O.D., The Three Stooges, Paul, Julie & Julia andChristopher Guest's For Your Consideration, A Mighty Wind and Best in Show, as well as Role Models, Talladega Nights, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Lynch has also voiced characters in Wreck-It Ralph, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons and Shrek Forever After.

Lynch's memoir, Happy Accidents, was published in September 2011 and includes a foreword written by Carol Burnett. Her play Oh Sister, My Sister! had runs at the Tamarind Theatre and Bang Theater in Los Angeles, garnering the LA Weekly Comedy Ensemble of the Year Award.
