Impro Theatre Presents PLAY UNSCRIPTED & GUESTS

Award-winning Impro Theatre continues its 12th anniversary season with the world premiere of Play UnScripted & Guests, with special guests Gary Anthony Williams from "The Boondocks," Colton Dunn from "Superstore," Jully Lee from "This is Us" and "Jane the Virgin," and more. Play UnScripted & Guests opens on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. and runs through October 27 at Impro Studio in Los Feliz Village.

Impro Theatre Main Company members will start with audience suggestions and improvise a contemporary two-act play with no pre-set genre, no guidelines and no safety net. Every performance will be unique, with the audience discovering the play right alongside the actors. Play UnScripted & Guests is inspired by modern playwrights such as Christopher Durang, Tracy Letts, and Sarah Ruhl. September shows will revolve around the theme "change," and October shows will focus on the theme "fears."

Impro Theatre recently completed a yearlong residency at the Broad Stage, producing 10 different productions over 10 months.
