IAMA Theatre Company to Present 2nd Annual 23-HOUR PLAY FESTIVAL

By:

IAMA THEATRE COMPANY presents its second annual 23-hour Play Festival, which is a dynamic theatrical event that showcases how exciting live theater can be. IAMA, with the help of their very talented celebrity friends, will present 7 original short plays -- all written, directed and performed in under 23 hours!

The 23-hour Play Festival features some of today's favorite stars from "Scandal," "The Mindy Project," "Dear White People," "How To Get Away With Murder," "Grey's Anatomy," "Hotwives Of Orlando, "The Sopranos," "Glee," "Superstore," "The 100," "Girls," "Recovery Road" and more!

23-HOURS? Yes. IAMA meets the night before and pair up our directors, writers and actors by drawing names from a hat. Once the seven "teams" are chosen, the writers have 9 hours to write the scripts. Actors receive them the morning of the show to rehearse and memorize. As an extra challenge, IAMA reduced the traditional 24 hours by one. Cause why not?

Participants to include:

ACTORS: Paul Adelstein, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Malcolm Barrett, Guillermo Diaz, Jack Falahee, Ian Harding, Aja Naomi King, Kelly McCreary, Joey McIntyre, Joe Morton, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Jenna Ushkowitz, and IAMA members Katie Lowes, Adam Shapiro, Stefanie Black, Amy Rosoff, Sarah Utterback, Jamie Wollrab, Margaux Susi, Laila Ayad, Mark Saul, Deborah S. Craig, Tim Rock, Melissa Jane Osborne, Graham Sibley, Dean Cechvala, and Laura Holloway!
