Hollywood Improv Lab Presents THE BREAKFAST SHOW, 10/30/11
THE BREAKFAST SHOW is a live talk show for kids, featuring dancing, sing-a-long songs, pies in the face and endless cereal for all. The ringmaster of the show is Adam-O (Adam Shenkman), with a bounce in his step and in his spit curl, titular mascot of most popular sugary cereal in the Milky Way. Every month, he's got a new mission, whether it's making a movie about his life, winning a stand up comedy contest or defeating the dastardly David Lunch.
Created by Sarah Hamblin and Adam Shenkman, THE BREAKFAST SHOW began in April of 2010 at The Strange Theater. Outgrowing that space, the show moved to the 96-seat Bootleg Theater for a highly successful three month run in the spring of 2011, followed by summer shows at the Comedy Central Stage (in 3D), the Silver Lake Jubilee and HM 157's Summer Solstice Festival. The show has reached a brand new audience this Fall. The Breakfast Show with Adam-O has recently been featured as new podcast at Skidrow Studios and is now available on iTunes. This month, THE BREAKFAST SHOW is in REAL 3-D and ready for some spooky good times! So come prepared for a whole extra dimension of haunting entertainment! The show features storytelling, sing-a-longs, art, audience participation, life lessons, balloons, surprises, strange new wonderful worlds and, of course, the most important meal of the day.... cereal!

Adam Shenkman (co-creator, co-writer and star of The Breakfast Show) is known for radically unique stand up performances at LA's hottest venues.
