Hollywood Fringe Festival Announces 2015 Dates

By:

The Hollywood Fringe Festival announced today that the sixth annual festival will take place June 11th-28th after a week of Previews taking place June 4th-9th and an Opening Night Party on June 10th. The festival sold at least 46,000 tickets in 2014 and gave back all $389,000 to participating artists and venues. The event continues to be one of the largest uncensored performing arts festivals in the country, showing a 170% increase in ticket sales since the first festival in 2010.

"One of the pillars of our mission is to cultivate a unique and inviting space for all types of artists and arts supporters. The Fringe community is growing rapidly with each passing year, so we must be doing something right," says Ben Hill, Festival Director. "We sold 30% more tickets this year."

Hill and other organizers behind the Hollywood Fringe will host a number of Town Halls and Workshops again this year to assist venues, participants and other community members prepare for the festival. The dates for these events will be announced in the coming weeks.

Registration for the Hollywood Fringe opens February 1st and closes on April 1st. The event is open and non-curated; any artistic group able to book a venue within the festival's boundaries may register.
