FANCY! HOE FOR THE HOLIDAYS to Play Three Clubs

By:

Your favorite po' country girl turned high-falutin' prostitute with a heart of gold is back in the brand new holiday show, Fancy! Hoe for the Holidays. Join Fancy and friends as they put a twist on your favorite carols and Christmas stories, interact with the audience and real time social media, and laugh away an hour with a riotous romp for the season playing at Three Clubs in Hollywood for two Sunday dates only, December 14th at 4pm and December 21st at 8pm.

Fancy, the infamous character from Bobbie Gentry's song "Fancy" which was made famous by Reba McEntire, is warmly brought to life by comedic-actress Chris Farah and has been delighting audiences with her past shows, Fancy! A Southern Gothic Camp Parable and Fancy: Secrets from my Bootydoir. Winner of the Best Cabaret/Variety Show, the Trailer Park Award by Bitter Lemons, an Encore Producer's Award with extensions for both 2013 and 2014, and the Virgin Award at the Hollywood Fringe Festival as well as nominated for Best Solo Show and a Broadworld.com Award, Fancy Jean Baker is a Los Angeles cult character-phenomenon, an Elvira for a new generation.

"(Fancy) is a wildly entertaining... character who's part Jackie Beat and part Divine - a chanteuse and formerly white-trash waif who found prostitution as the key to her queendom. She now gives sex advice to people who text in questions during the show. In a wig recalling Tammy Faye Bakker, Fancy Jean Baker is a charismatic...woman with a male libido and female compassion, she's Dear Abby on Viagra, with some Red Bull thrown in for an energy boost." - Steven Leigh Morris - StageRaw.com
