Dusty Bums Productions Bring ANGELS AND WHISKEY to Hollywood Fringe, Now thru 6/27

By:
Dusty Bums Productions presents the World Premiere of Joshua Thomas' ANGELS AND WHISKEY at Hollywood Fringe. You're in Heaven. You hate it. Now what?

When John has a heart attack in a bar he doesn't immediately notice his own death but he does order another whiskey from the reaper. Now, stuck in a heaven that he 'chose' himself, condemned to drink the same glass of whiskey over and over for eternity, his misery attracts the attention of Lucifer who is curious about someone who has successfully created their own Hell in Heaven. And the fun begins.

A dark comedy about free will, Angels and Whiskey is the show to see of you want to know what really happened to Shakespeare, The Marquis de Sade, Ayn Rand and Gandhi once they shuffled off this mortal coil.

ANGELS AND WHISKEY features Joshua Thomas, Daniel J. Parker and Bruce Cervi as John.

JOSHUA THOMAS is an award winning actor and playwright with shows produced in St Louis, New York and now LA. Born in New Zealand, trained in Australia and now performing in the US, his recent performance of Orsino in the Shakespeare Festival of St Louis' production of Twelfth Night won him the Best Actor in a Comedy award for St Louis' 2013 theatre season. The same year also saw Joshua a winner of the inaugural Labute New American Theatre Festival for his play 'Kink'.

BRUCE CERVI most recently appeared as Brabantio in "Othello", for Shakes and Vets. Prior to that, as Aufidius in "Coriolanus", also for Shakes and Vets. As Colonel Gaines, aka "Gump", in "Fit for Society", for the Veterans Center for the Performing Arts. As the Physician in "MacBeth", for the Uprising Theater Company. Recently co-directed the one-man show "Cry Havoc" staged at Shakespeare L.A. and directed Yasmina Reza's award winning "Art" at the Actor's Workout Studio in North Hollywood. Deepest thanks to Joshua Thomas.

DANIEL J. PARKER was born in England and raised in Switzerland, Daniel moved to L.A. to pursue his career in acting as they don't shoot a lot of films in the alps. He's a former DJ who writes, acts, directs and produces in both film and theatre. www.danieljparker.net
