Diana Son's STOP KISS opens 11/12 at The Lounge Thtr. in Hollywood. STOP KISS - A story of a friendship that over time turns into something more. What can happen after the moment of a first kiss? A comic drama written by Diana Son and directed by Ken Barnett and Larry Biederman.

Diana Son (Playwright) is an award-winning playwright, a writer and producer for television, and a screenwriter. Stop Kiss and her play Satellites premiered at The Public Theatre in New York. Some of the many theaters that have produced Son's plays are the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Repertory Theatre and the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Son was co-executive producer of the television series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and is currently writing for the series "Blue Bloods" on CBS. Stop Kiss was produced by the New York Shakespeare Festival on December 6, 1998.

Ken Barnett (Director) is a theatre artist and teacher. He lives and works in New York City and Los Angeles. As a teacher, he specializes in Creative Dreamwork for Artists. Having trained with Kim Gillingham in LA, he facilitates both group workshops and private sessions and uses this work to coach actors as they prepare for new roles. In addition, he is a teacher of the Viewpoints Technique, having studied extensively with Anne Bogart and the Siti Company. As an actor, Ken has performed on Broadway, many Off-Broadway productions and in regional theatres around the country including the Guthrie, Geffen Playhouse, Kennedy Center, Mark Taper Forum, Paper Mill Playhouse, Prince Music Theatre and Pittsburgh Public Theatre. Ken is currently performing in the west coast premiere of Geoffrey Naufft's Next Fall at the Geffen Playhouse.

LARRY BIEDERMAN (Director) directed The Autumn Garden at Antaeus, Wirehead at the Echo, Big Death and Little Death at the Road , Crumble at LATC, Dark Rapture at the Evidence Room, and No Mercy at the 24th Street Theatre. His production of La Ronde with Ken Barnett moved from the Zephyr to sold out crowds at the NY Fringe Festival. After seven seasons as Artistic Associate at A.C.T. in San Francisco, he continues to direct and also teaches, both privately, and at reputable training programs, from Williamstown to The Old Globe. He also coaches for television and currently serves as Head of Directing Cal State Northridge.

GINGER PERKINS (Producer) is president of Frantic Redhead Productions and has produced theatre, music, dance and art exhibits for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for twenty-five years ("Best of the Fringe" and "Fringe First" awards); directed and produced theatre across the US and in Europe; and co-wrote three plays. Most recently she produced the critically acclaimed productions of Orpheus Descending and Beggars in the House of Plenty at Theatre/Theater and Land of the Tigers (LA Weekly, Backstage Garland, Ovation, LA Drama Critics Circle awards) at Sacred Fools and The Lost Studio. Ginger produced the films Refuge; Game of Their Lives; and Children on Their Birthdays and co-produced films Baby-Luv; and All Tied Up

Stop Kiss opens Saturday, November 12 at 8:00 p.m. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 7:00 p.m. through Sunday, December 18.
