Confidential Musical Theatre Project Comes to LA

By:

The Confidential Musical Theatre Project is coming to L.A.! On Monday June 29, a group of performers will take to the stage and present a musical, having had absolutely no group rehearsal. And the title of the musical? Well, that's all part of the Confidential aspect - we can't tell you. It's a secret. It's scary, it's exhilarating, it's captivating, and it will remind you of why you fell in love with live theatre in the first place. Come and experience the new theatrical concept that started in Toronto and has already expanded to six other cities before celebrating its one-year anniversary.

CMTP's world premiere took place on July 22nd, 2014: Sunday In The Park With George. They have since expanded into Vancouver, Ottawa, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Halifax.

One night only at the El Portal Theatre mainstage. The cast of 18 is made up of Broadway vets and actors that are well known in the Los Angeles theatre scene but you won't find out who they are until the show starts!

Director/Producer Lea Garbe is very excited to bring the CMTP franchise from Toronto, where she grew up performing and then produced her first full-scale musical when she was 19 years old. She then went on to produce 3-show seasons for Encore Entertainment in Toronto before moving to LA.

The musical director is Bryan Blaskie, who wrote Assistants the Musical, which is currently playing (and sold out!) at the Hollywood Fringe.

Tickets are $30 General Admission and can be purchased online at www.confidentialmusicaltheatreproject.com or by calling 310-985-0555. Group tickets also available by calling 310-985-0555 or ConfidentialLosAngeles@gmail.com

The El Portal Theatre is located at 5269 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood.
