Celebration Theatre Presents subTEXT MESSAGES, Opens 9/30

Celebration Theatre and And Then Some present a brand new and original sketch comedy experience, subTEXT MESSAGES. subTEXT MESSAGES opens on Friday, September 30th and runs for three more weeks through Saturday, October 22ndth at Celebration Theatre, 7051 Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood.

subTEXT MESSAGES is an original hour of sketch comedy from Todd Milliner, the executive Producer of TV Land's "Hot in Cleveland" and NBC's upcoming "GRIMM." Milliner, in association with And Then Some, the troupe that was born out of the previous sketch offerings from his association with Celebration Theatre, are excited about presenting another truly unique, sketch comedy performance. subTEXT MESSAGES is a witty, fast-paced, and hilarious hour of comedy centered around the ways that we communicate with one another, the technology with which we do so and the usually insane motivations behind what we are actually trying to express.

And The Some, is a newly formed sketch comedy troupe that consists of writers and performers from the prior Celebration Theatre sketch comedy shows ID Napped, Milk Cartons and Bar Tricks. And Then Some strives to find the funny in the mundane, to play games with the casual encounter and to bring a fantastical point of view to an, otherwise, uneventful situation. For this production, And Then Some will feature Mary Buckley, Nathan Frizzell, JoAnna Leeds, Maia Madison, Jason Moyer, Justin O'Connor, Kelly Schumann and Michael Tauzin. Tamara L. Davis and Michael Geniac will understudy.

The lighting design is by Matthew Brian Denman. subTEXT MESSAGES is being produced by Jason Moyer and Celebration Theatre. Celebration Theatre's Artistic Director is John Michael Beck and the Executive Director is Michael C. Kricfalusi.

SCHEDULE AND PRICING

subTEXT MESSAGES opens on Friday, September 30th and runs for four weeks through Saturday, October 22nd. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30pm. Ticket prices are $10.00 for all performances.
