CHICO'S ANGELS to Welcome Josh Martin
Actor Josh Martin joins south of the border hotties, Chico's Angels, Kay Sedia (the pretty one); Chita Parol (the smart one) and Frieda Laye (the "friendly" one) who find themselves behind bars after they are hired to find out who is killing off high school hookers in "Chico's Angels 3: Chica's in Chains"!
"Chico's Angels 3: Chica's in Chains", co-created and co-written by Oscar Quintero and Kurt Koehler and is directed by Kurt Koehler, plays at the Cavern Club Theater inside Casita Del Campo Restaurant (1920 Hyperion Ave, Silverlake, CA 90027). Tickets on sale at: www.chicosangels.com
Josh Martin is a 27 year old actor/musician/personal trainer from South Carolina. He was born to a former marathon runner and Major League Baseball player. Josh grew up around sports, but decided acting and music were his primary passions, while in college. After receiving a bachelors in theatre and business, Josh received his Master's in Film Acting from the New York Film Academy, spending a year in New York City before moving to Los Angeles. In his time in NYC and LA, Josh has appeared in many plays, commercials, improv shows, and a brief spot on Comedy Central's The Onion Sportsdome. He has also cofounded and is the lead singer of a hard rock band, Xerces Blue, which plays around many small venues in LA. Of all the fun and exciting things with which Josh has done and been blessed, the most special is his wife, Svetlana, whom he met in graduate school. He thanks her for her undying love and support through his being a small-time-hoping-for-big-time actor in Los Angeles!
Chico's Angels stars three beautiful and comedic Latina drag queens; Kay Sedia, Chita Parol & Frieda Laye - who work for pennies for their unseen boss. Think a Latino drag queen/Three Stooges version of the 70s series, Charlie's Angel.

Chico's Angels 24ish mini-episode has toured the country in over twenty film festivals. 24ish was nominated for best short in the San Francisco GLBT Film Festival, Frameline34. The Angels were also nominated for a Weho Award.
