Broadway's Matt Zarley joins Upright Cabaret's 'Mighty Mississippi' concert at La Mirada 6/6

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and Upright Cabaret are proud to announce that Broadway' s Matt Zarley has signed on to perform in Upright Cabaret's "The Mighty Mississippi" concert on Sun, June 6, 2010 at 8pm replacing previously announced Katy Mixon.

Matt Zarley began his career at 12 years old, dancing with Tony the Tiger in a Kellogg's Frosted Flakes commercial. Subsequently, his career has taken him to Broadway where, still just a teenager, he made his Broadway debut in A Chorus Line. He has also appeared in Cats, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Chicago, and has played the title roles in both Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Who's Tommy on Broadway.

Zarley will join American Idol's Von Smith and Ovation award winner Yvette Cason (Broadway: Dreamgirls, Play On!) for Upright Cabaret's "The Mighty Mississippi" concert which celebrates the Music of Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley and Prince with guest Music Director Gerald Sternbach.
