Acme Theatre Ends Run of ROCK 'N' RIDICULE, 4/25
Direct from Washington DC, the political cabaret that rocks: ROCK 'N RIDICULE, will end its run on April 25th! The Acme Comedy Theatre hosts a talented cast and rock band take aim at everything from the ridiculous to the sublime.
This comedic coup takes a bi-partisan blast at presidents and politicians from Obama and W to Sarah Palin and for some local flavor, Governor Schwarzenegger, all taking it on the chin in this equal opportunity musical comedy. Whether you're a blue dog Democrat, Tea Party Republican, die-hard Independent or apathetic non-voter, you'll snap your fingers, stomp your feet, and laugh out loud as the band jams and the lively and talented musical cast sticks it to pundits and politicians of all persuasions.
The cast:
Derek Reid ("Top Story", The Groundlings) as Barack Obama
Chris Smith ("All My Children," "Dirty Sexy Money") as Rahm Emanuel
Natascha Corrigan ("American Dreamz") as Sarah Palin
Louie Sadd (Bush impersonator extraordinaire) as George W. Bush
