AWAKE AND SING is Back at the Odyssey in Los Angeles

Odyssey Theatre's critically acclaimed 2015 revival of Awake and Sing!, directed by Elina de Santos and starring Marilyn Fox, is back by popular demand! Clifford Odets' gritty, passionate, funny and heartbreaking masterpiece about the hopes and struggles of a lower-middle-class, three-generation Jewish family living in a Bronx apartment during the Great Depression continues to resonate 81 years after its 1935 premiere.

Performances will be Aug. 27 - Oct. 2: Wednesday at 8 p.m.: Sept. 14 ONLY, Fridays at 8 p.m.: Sept. 2, 9*, 16**, 23*, 30, Saturdays at 8 p.m.: Aug. 27 (opening); Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24; Oct. 1, Sundays at 2 p.m.: Aug. 28; Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25
