Hundreds of bidders, along with a slate of celebrity guests, will bid on an exceptional collection of artwork, sculpture, photography, furnishings and more as Westime and Richard Mille proudly present the first ART PROJECT LOS ANGELES. The event -- a premier, red-carpet charity art auction and artists reception the weekend of June 25 - 27-- is a benefit for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), which provides life-saving care for thousands of Angelenos living with HIV/AIDS.

The auction, created by Hamilton-Selway Fine Art Gallery, is backed by an exceptional roster of celebrities who serve on its Entertainment Support Committee, including co-chairs Jackie Collins and Barry Krost (both of whom are scheduled to appear); Pamela Anderson; Stockard Channing; Jennifer Love Hewitt; Cloris Leachman; Shirley MacLaine; Debra Messing; Olivia Newton-John and many more. World-renowned auction house Bonhams & Butterfields will serve as the perfect venue for the premier event. Bonhams, founded in 1793, is one of the world's oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques.

Up for auction include works by world-renowned artists including Basquiat, Haring, Hockney, Longo, Picasso, Ruscha, and Warhol.

The auction will also feature works from exciting local and emerging artists, produced in a range of genres -- including kinetic sculpture and graffiti art -- and with an assortment of media: Cibachrome, Plexiglas, oil and spray paint. Other artists of note include Stephen Holland, Brad Howe, Burton Morris, and Robert Kuo.

Among the most exclusive items for auction is a never-before-seen, limited edition Richard Mille watch. Valued at $90,000, this RM 011 Ti "Americas BLACK" is the first watch produced in a 50-piece edition. The piece was donated to Art Project Los Angeles by Westime. Beginning in September, the Richard Mille boutique in Beverly Hills will be the exclusive retailer for the RM 011 "Americas BLACK" edition. Greg Simonian, president of Westime, and Richard Mille, CEO and designer for Richard Mille watches, will walk the red carpet and will be available for media interviews. All works, including the watch, will be available for bid during both silent and live auctions.

The event's signature attraction, a red carpet, VIP cocktail party and live charity auction, takes place on Saturday, June 26, from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The event will launch on Friday evening with an artists' reception and continues Saturday morning with a silent charity auction, which is free and open to the public. Tickets to the Saturday evening affair are available at apla.org.

Event proceeds benefit APLA, which provides life-saving food, medical and dental care, housing assistance and other vital services to Angelenos who are living with HIV/AIDS and who face poverty, hunger, unemployment, stigma, and more.

Westime and Richard Mille are presenting sponsors of the event. Additional sponsors include Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Showtime, Clear Channel Los Angeles Radio, Hamilton-Selway Fine Art, Metrosource Magazine, Red Diamond, Long Beach BMW, and Frontiers in L.A.
