Anchorman: The Unauthorized Musical Adaptation of the Legend of Ron Burgundy is bringing the hit Will Ferrell & Adam McKay comedy to the El Cid stage (4212 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90029) in this special one-night only event on March 14th! Get ready to laugh, drink some scotchy scotch scotch, and sing along to your favorite songs from the 70s!
Adapted for the stage and also directed by Mandy Burhoe, Anchorman: The Unauthorized Musical tells the story of Ron Burgundy, who is San Diego's top-rated anchorman at the male-dominated Channel 4. But that's all about to change for Ron and his team, when an ambitious female reporter, Veronica Corningstone, is hired on as a new anchor.
Starring Trent Mills as Ron Burgundy (Shrek the Musical, UMPO Stranger Things) & Shanera Richardson as Veronica Corningstone. Featuring Blake McIver as Brian Fantana (The Little Rascals), Richard Banker as Champ Kind, Matthew Scott Montgomery as Brick Tamland (Disney Channel's So Random!), Ben Schreen as Wes Mantooth (America's Next Top Model), Mark Hapka as Ed Harken (Days Of Our Lives), & Nelson Schreen as Tino.
