Theatre 40 of Beverly Hills and Producer David Hunt Stafford will bring the world premiere of acclaimed playwright and actress, Leda Siskind's latest production, ALL MY DISTANCES ARE FAR to their theatre. Siskind will also be directing the cast of seven in a historic docudrama about the struggles with multi-cultural teens struggling in society at the end of their school year, as they prepare to fit-in to our already complicated culture.

What happens to a foster teen when she ages out of the system? What happens to an adolescent boy with Asperger's when he falls in love? What happens to a straight-A student who is being sexually molested? All these characters and others confide to the psychotherapist who sees them at their urban high school. Through each of their monologues, the audience becomes the silent confidant - and well as the witness to the therapist herself - as each teenager grapples with his or her struggle by the end of the school year.

Marcy Kelly, the obese, punked-out poet at Eric's new school becomes the fiercely loyal friend Eric so desperately needs. When Marcy meets a boy on the Internet, Eric feels pushed away and ignored. But is Eric just jealous - or is there something creepy about Marcy's new boyfriend? Does he really exist at all? What Eric discovers has devastating affects for his friendship, his future - and for Marcy Kelly most of all.

The cast features Judah Benaim, Hillary Freedman, Sophie Labelle, Taylor Luke, Lital Peykar, Briana Price and Chris Vickers-Rynecki. The production team is made up of Producer David Hunt Stafford, Set Designer Jeff G. Rack, Sound Designer Joseph "Sloe" Slawinski and Stage Manager Amanda Sauter.

Opening at Theatre 40 on August 1st, 2016, ALL MY DISTANCES ARE FAR will run on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday through August 31st, 2016 @ 8:00PM. The theatre is located on the Campus of Beverly Hills High, at 241 So. Moreno Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90212. Tickets are general admission, $25.00 and can be purchased at: https://theatre40.org
