A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, has added two performances of its popular production of Frank Galati'S adaptation of John Steinbeck'S iconic THE GRAPES OF WRATH on Saturday, April 20, 2 pm, and Sunday, April 21, 7 pm. The play runs through May 11, 2013.

Frank Galati's adaptation, directed by Michael Michetti, brilliantly distills the quintessential American novel to its core while preserving its essence as perhaps the greatest American travel tale ever written. The critically acclaimed production has been described as "evocative" and "enveloped in musicality" (LA Weekly). Backstage calls it "stellar" and lauds its "strong direction...phenomenal performances, and gorgeous technical elements." Stage Scene LA proclaims it "magnificent" and "resoundingly powerful."

A Noise Within, led by Producing Artistic Directors Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, is the only year-round classical repertory company in Southern California and one of only a handful in the entire country dedicated solely to producing classical dramatic literature in the repertory tradition of rotating productions with a resident company of professional artists.

A Noise Within's production of The Grapes of Wrath is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.

Media sponsors for ANW's 2012-13 Season are Pasadena Star-News and KPCC 89.3 FM.

A NOISE WITHIN is located on the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Sierra Madre Villa Avenue at 3352 East Foothill Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. Single tickets currently range from $40 - $52.
