Tom Needham's SOUNDS OF FILM Presents Stony Brook Film Festival Interviews & Analysis

Maja Zdanowski, the writer and director of In God I Trust, a featured movie at the Stony Brook Film Festival, will be Tom Needham's special guest this Thursday, July 25th, at 6 pm on WUSB's The Sounds of Film.

In God I Trust is a suspenseful movie about the unpredictable realities of race and religion in America. The film, inspired by true events, follows three separate story lines that converge in a Northern Idaho town diner. In God I Trust features inspired performances from Grammy nominated singer Bilial Oliver, Steven Roberts and Melissa Roxburgh.

Tom Needham will also be attending The Stony Brook Film Festival. He will be moderating a Filmmaker Panel on Wednesday, July 24 before the first film. The panel will start at 5:15 pm and it will feature the Director of Babysplitters, Sam Friedlander; Co-Directors of A Scientist's Guide to Living and Dying, Nitzan Mager and Shachar Langley; and the Director of In God I trust, Maja Zdanowski.

The Sounds of Film is the nation's longest running film and music themed radio show. For the past 30 years, the program has delivered a popular mix of interviews and music to listeners all over Long Island, parts of Connecticut and streaming live worldwide on the internet at wusb.fm.
