Last Call for LIC Arts Open Fall Salon Show Entries

LIC Arts Open is seeking submissions for a Salon style show at a large space at 43 -01 21st St [Formerly Wills]. They are especially encouraging LIC and Western Queens artists to submit one work for this show. The work will be up for the weekend of Nov 19/20 [Hours 12 - 6pm both days plus evening of 19th during the Fundraising event]

All the work will be for sale. Artists keep 85% of the proceeds. 15% goes to LIC Arts Open to help to fund the festival and other LIC Arts Open events.

Please submit the image of the work you would like to hang or display, include the dimensions and any other pertinent information. They are going to try to hang as many pieces as possible and considerations and other conditions mean they cannot not guarantee to hang all submissions please submit as soon as possible.

You will be notified of the time to bring the work to the space for the install once submissions close but most likely we will start to hang the show on Nov 16 and finish on 18. You must bring the work on time or we do not guarantee to hang it. Work must be removed on Monday 21. The exhibition will be part of a larger show which includes a special Flash Sale 10 x 10 exhibit as well as a dedicated music room. The evening of the 19th will also feature live painting/dance, poetry and performance art all complemented by food and drink.
