Joseph Vecsey Returns as Host of the ALL STAR COMEDY SHOW at Bay Street Tonight
ALL STAR COMEDY SHOW features the rising stars of comedy. Host Joseph Vecsey (The Call Back Podcast) is a fast rising comedian and is known for hosting this show at Bay Street Theater for the past three years. Other comics for the evening include Mike Brown (Stand Up NY, Laugh Lounge), Nore Davis (Comedy Central, Inside Amy Schumer, Boardwalk Empire), Yannis Pappas (Fusion Live, Half Hour Comedy Central Special); join us for the funniest up and coming comedians!
Joseph Vecsey has performed in bars, clubs, theaters, colleges, restaurants, rough urban rooms in Brooklyn and Staten Island, even a hostel on 103rd and Amsterdam. He opened for Jim Breuer and Susie Essman at Bay Street Theater in 2013. Since the beginning of his show at Bay Street Theater he has hosted various shows in New York City and popular clubs like the Laff House in Philadelphia and Jokers Wild in New Haven.
Mike Brown is a comedian and writer from Harlem, New York. He's performed at Caroline's Comedy Club, Stand Up NY, Laugh Lounge, EastVille Comedy Club, and other venues all over New York.
Nore Davis has cemented himself as a rising star in the comedy world after his performance in the 2014 New Faces of Comedy Showcase at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He is best known for his energetic performances and magnetic stage presence, he has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, and Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV. His talents have also earned him acting roles on shows that include, Inside Amy Schumer, Last Week Tonight and the Emmy award winning HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
Yannis Pappas is currently the co-anchor of Fusion Live, a one-hour news magazine program on Fusion Network, which focuses on current events, pop culture and satire. Fusion launched in September 2013 as a joint venture of ABC and Univision. He has also been featured on AXS TV, VH1's Best Week Ever, CBS and Good Morning America on ABC and a on Comedy Central with a half hour special. He was the first comedian to do stand-up ever on the New Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He tours the world as a stand-up comedian and is known for his immensely popular characters Mr. Panos and Maurica on his YouTube Channel.
