The Nashville Bluegrass Band | $38
Oct 15, 2010 @ 8 pm
One of the true legends of bluegrass returns to the Emelin. Since its inception over 25 years ago, the NBB has shown what puts the blues in "bluegrass" and has garnered many IBMA awards along the way.

Gold Heart with Buddy Merriam and Backroads | $32
Dec 10, 2010 @ 8 pm
Gold Heart are three sisters from northern Virginia and one of the best young bands in bluegrass. Sublime sibling harmonies, first-rate original material and exceptional musicianship come together in their distinctive "slow drive" sound. Traditionally rooted but with a modern edge, their music touches all the emotions. Opening for Gold Heart is Long Island's Buddy Merriam and Backroads. Celebrating 30 years in bluegrass, Buddy has been featured in Bluegrass Unlimited magazine and other national media.

Larry Stephenson | $38
Feb 18, 2011 @ 8 pm
Another returning star, Larry has been known as one of the great high tenor singers in bluegrass since his early days with The Bluegrass Cardinals and with Bill Harrell and The Virginians. His crackerjack band exemplifies the best of traditional bluegrass: close harmonies, powerful picking and a fast-paced, entertaining stage show.

Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper | $38
Mar 11, 2011 @ 8 pm
Hold on to your hats! Winner of five IBMA awards in 2009, including Fiddle Player of the Year and Instrumental Band of the Year, Mike and his amazing band return to the Emelin with their unmatched energy, drive and power.

Dailey and Vincent | $42
Apr 15, 2011 @ 8 pm
IBMA Entertainers of the Year in 2008 and 2009, this band has it all: superb vocals, hot picking, and personality to spare. After many years performing with Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs, respectively, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent launched this band in 2007 amid extraordinary anticipatory buzz, which has been more than justified. Their music ranges from bluegrass gospel to the Statler Brothers, incorporating the best of traditional and modern bluegrass.
