Bay Street Theatre is currently in the midst of the Annual Appeal fundraising drive to keep the Literature Live program alive in 2011 as well as other programming for 2012. The planned Literature Live presentation for 2011 is TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, a professional production geared to students, but the public is invited to attend as well. The show will be presented to local and regional schools as well as the public November 4 - 26.

"Each year we choose a piece of literature that is in the curriculum of most of the schools in the area and bring it to life on stage," says Murphy Davis, Artistic Director at Bay Street Theatre. "We keep the prices at $10 for students and teachers so that it is affordable for schools and offers students the opportunity to experience the impact of live theatre."

The cost for an adult ticket is $20. For more information on supporting Literature Live, contact the Development Office at 631-725-0818. To book groups for the November production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, call the Box Office at 631-725-9500.
