MARRIED & STILL LOOKIN' To Premiere With King Productions
Robert King Jr. writes and directs the world premiere at The Perfect Note dinner theater.
King Productions will stage Married & Still Lookin', a new stage play written and directed by Robert King Jr.
This production invites audiences into an intimate world with three bedrooms, four couples, and one unforgettable weekend. Set during the housewarming celebration of newlyweds Jalen and Zoe, what begins as a joyful gathering quickly spirals into chaos. Tensions rise when the couple invites the fiery duo Andre and Vanessa, along with Andre's ex-wife Lorraine. As personalities clash and secrets surface, the night takes unexpected turns, unraveling relationships and exposing uncomfortable truths.
"This play is hilariously human," says actress and intimacy director Valoneecia Tolbert. "Sometimes we don't even realize that we are the walking red flag. People are really going to watch this and see themselves-and hopefully be able to laugh at themselves."
"This play has been years in the making," King shares. "I love that it's being performed in Atlanta-the birthplace of stage plays. I grew up inspired by the works of Shelly Garrett, Tyler Perry, and David Talbert. Recently, I connected with a seasoned actress from the circuit who encouraged me to follow the blueprint laid by the greats-and that's exactly what this show does."
The cast includes Timeca Seretti (from 'Beyond the Gates'), alongside E-J Mills, Madison Smith, Brenda Barnes, Valoneecia Tolbert, William M. Carroll, Jr., William Hayes, Sheleah Harris, J. Chester, Ulrike Stewart, and Ruth Adams Gravely. The production also includes voiceover performances by Sireze Booker, Nic Starr, and Princess Starr.
Performances will run May 13th and 14th at The Perfect Note located at 3000 Windy Hill Rd SE Suite 116, Marietta, GA. Tickets can be purchased at King Productions website.
