Tonight, the performance of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL will be a benefit performance in honor of Russell Ray Slouffman to help offset hospital and funeral costs his family has incurred as a result of his tragic and untimely death.

The beloved actor was well-known in the Las Vegas theatre community and was an original cast member of EVIL DEAD who brought the popular "Undead Michael Jackson" character to life at the show for its first year on the Las Vegas Strip.

Earlier this month he was in a terrible car accident. He passed away from his injuries days later, and the Las Vegas theatre community is still struggling with the loss. His family has been saddled with unexpected bills that have made this tragic event even moreso. Determined to help Russell's family during this troubling time, Sirc Michaels and the team behind EVIL DEAD are looking to offset some of those costs by turning the performance this Friday into a benefit show.

Fans are encouraged to come on Friday 4/17 to see the show as a portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Russell's family. Donations will also be collected in the lobby after the show.

Fans who wish to purchase their tickets are encouraged to call the V Theater Box Office at 866-932-1818 or by visiting: https://vtheaterboxoffice.com/las-vegas-shows.cfm?showid=10011

Endorsed by Bruce Campbell and embraced by Sam Raimi, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL is the official live stage show of the cult classic film trilogy. The award-winning production has been "slaying them in the aisles" in Las Vegas since October 2011 and shows no signs of slowing down. Performances can be seen at the V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino nightly.
