March madness is in full swing in Las Vegas.

This weekend, country western music and soap opera fans also have a reason to cheer. Emmy-winning television star Jacob Young opens in concert at The Tropicana in the Laugh Factory Theatre on Sunday March 26 with a special 5:00 PM performance and Monday March 27 at 7:00 PM.

Jacob and his band's country rock concert features songs from his forthcoming new album along with some classic country favorites. This week also marks the 30th anniversary of "The Bold and The Beautiful" on CBS-TV, where Jacob can be seen daily as Rick Forrester. Jacob's musical stage debut was playing Lumiere in "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway. He also toured as the musical opening act for "Dynasty's" Joan Collins in her one-woman show in casino showrooms. Jacob joins Ira David Sternberg on Thursday March 23 at 8:00 PM on the 91.5 The Source radio program "Talk About Las Vegas with Ira," which can also be heard archived on www.talkaboutlasvegas.com.

Jacob's Las Vegas showroom debut is being produced with Mark Rozzano, a Broadway veteran who spent 13 years with Disney on Broadway and currently manages Las Vegas resident, the legendary Jerry Lewis. There are still a limited number of VIP tickets available which include a meet and greet with Jacob following the performances. VIP and general admission tickets are available in person at The Tropicana box office, on line at troplv.com or by phone at 800-829-9034.
