The Barn Players to Present Three Special Performances of CLOSER THAN EVER as a Benefit Fundraiser, 8/15-17

For 59th consecutive seasons the Barn Players, the city's largest, oldest and most renowned community theatre," will present a special musical benefit to raise funds for season productions, Barn Junior and Barn Kids activities and for various operational needs, with three special performances of the musical production "CLOSER THAN EVER". The Barn Players is a 501-3-c not-for-profit organization.

"CLOSER THAN EVER", features 25 songs dealing with security, aging, happiness, marriage and love with smartly crafted lyrics and melodies on stage at the Barn Players, 6219 Martway in Mission, Kansas. It is directed by Martha Risser with staging by Rob Reeder. Rated PG-13.

The three benefit performances will be: Friday evening, August 15th at 7:30 and Sunday matinee August 17th at 2:00 both evenings will include a premier jewelry sale- tickets $25.00. Saturday evening August 16th a special reception will begin at 6:30 and feature a food buffet courtesy of Outback Steakhouse, Runza and Classic Catering, a wine bar and a silent auction that will include tickets for area theatres, local and sporting events, merchandise, Barn Theatre season Flex Passes and a walk-on part in a Barn Players show - tickets $50.00.
