A Summer Benefit Concert for The Barn Players

AUDITIONS:
Sunday, June 27th, 2010

Beginning at 7:00pm

At The Barn Players Theatre

EXPECTATION and PREPARATION:

Auditions will be an open call will consist of singing a prepared 32 bar selection of a musical Theatre Or pop/rock song in the style of the show.

Please Provide: Sheet Music or CD (an accompanist will be available)

Headshot/Resume (if available)

Rehearsals will begin July 18th. Typical weekly rehearsal schedule will by Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 - 10pm. Conflicts with the rehearsals must be kept to an absolute minimum due to the short four-week rehearsal schedule. No conflicts will be accepted during dress / tech week.

PRODUCTION DATES:
August 6 - 8, 2010
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm

SYNOPSIS:

An overview of the women of the world of Rock and popular music during the 60's 70's and 80's, including a section of the show dedicated to Rock on Broadway.

The director will be looking for women of all ages to perform in the tribute concert portraying the legendary women of Rock from the Billboard Music Charts.
