Branson Entertainment Community Pitches In for NIGHT WITH THE STARS, 4/20

Some of Branson, Missouri's most popular entertainers and other special guests will help raise money for charity when they perform at the 11th annual "Night with the Stars" at the Yakov Smirnoff Theater on Saturday, April 20. Proceeds from the variety show, dinner and silent auction will benefit the Missouri Baptist Children's Home, a nonprofit organization that provides residential and community-based services to help children and families in crisis.

The star-studded lineup includes:

· Pierce Arrow - This group of singers and comedians regularly packs their own Pierce Arrow Theater in Branson. www.piercearrowtheater.com

· Clay Cooper - The star of Clay Cooper's Comedy Express blends country music and comedy in a family-friendly show that is one of the most popular in Branson. www.claycooper.com

· #1 Hits of the 60's - This show, which pays tribute to the British Invasion, Motown, California Surfin' and the Age of Aquarius and Elvis was voted Branson's Best Matinee Show in 2010 and 2011. www.1hitsofthe60s.com

· Jetset Getset - This teenage country group was recently named a "Who New to Watch in 2013" by the Country Music Association. Music News Nashville wrote that they have the potential to be "country music's next powerhouse female trio." www.jetsetgetset.com

· The Cat's Pajamas - This award-winning, five-man a cappella group has toured the world, creating the sound of an entire band, using just their voices. www.vocalmeow.com

· New South - Known for blending classic and contemporary country and gospel, New South has been voted Branson's Best Variety Show, Band of the Year and more. www.grandcountry.com

· Ayo - Voices of Glory - The stars of the Branson-based show "Ayo," singers Michael, Avery and Nadia Cole were in the Top 5 of "America's Got Talent." www.hughes-brothers.com

· Tyler Bryce - This singer, comedian and impressionist is known for his more than 200 voices. www.tylerbryce.com

· Kathy Garver - A veteran Hollywood actress, Kathy Garver got her start playing a child slave in the movie "The Ten Commandments" with Charlton Heston, but she is best known her role of "Cissy" on the classic CBS sitcom "Family Affair. www.kathygarver.com

"This will be my first time appearing in Branson, and I am so excited to be involved with Night with the Stars," Garver said. "The Missouri Baptist Children's Home does an excellent job of providing assistance to so many and I am thrilled to be involved with them. "

"Night with the Stars" will take place on Saturday, April 20, at the Yakov Smirnoff Theater, 470 Missouri 248, Branson, Missouri 65616. A silent auction will begin at 4:00 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m., and the show at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50. For information, call 800-264-6224.
