Props Designer

Seeking a Chicagoland-area Props Designer for ECC Theatre's fall drama production of "The Man Who Came to Dinner." Position is available immediately and runs through November 25. Production Dates: November 13-22 The Props Designer will collaborate with student actors, the faculty director, professional designers, and Arts Center staff to help bring the production to life. Responsibilities include all aspects of props design and execution, including research, design, building, pulling, sourcing, and dressing props. The Designer will work closely with the Director to develop a props design that supports the artistic vision of the production while remaining within the established budget. The Props Designer must be available to participate in:

• First rehearsal

• Production meetings via Zoom

• Designer Run

• Technical rehearsals

• Dress rehearsals

• Props strike Production Schedule

• Rehearsals begin: September 21, 2026

• Tech & Dress: November 5–12, 2026
