Theatrical A/V and Lighting Technician - Arlington ISD Center for Visual & Performing Arts

The Audio Visual (AV) Specialist for the Center for the Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) is to manage the theatrical lighting, audio, video, and technology needs of the venue. The CVPA houses a concert hall, black box theater, dance studio, multipurpose room, and an art gallery in the same facility. The AV Specialist is responsible for effectively supporting audio and lighting designers, ensuring that high artistic standards are met at all times. An ideal candidate would be someone who has a strong background in audio mixing for live theater, programming lighting consoles, and is experienced with installation and strike logistics; must feel comfortable working on multiple simultaneous projects. Experience in webcasting/ livestreaming is a plus. There are two positions available, candidates with a one area of expertise (theatrical lighting OR audio) will be considered.

Salary: $21.86-$26.66 per hour
