TIP opens its 115th season with the Steven Berkoff adaptation of the Kafka classic "Metamorphosis" directed by Davina McFadyen, making her TIP directorial debut.

Steven Berkoff's 'Metamorphosis' is inspired by Franz Kafka's renowned story - the parable of Gregor Samsa, a simple man who wakes up one morning and finds himself transformed into a gigantic insect. Physical and psychological, harrowing and absurdly comical.
Through the intense physicality of Total Theatre, Steven Berkoff brought Kafka's haunting masterpiece of human alienation to the stage and now TIP brings this fascinating production to Tokyo.

Starring Laz Brezer, Elliott Davis, Roberta Hamilton, Liam Shea, Rika Wakasugi and introducing Stephan Schmidt in the lead role of Gregor Samsa.

NOTE: Parents & Teachers: Due to the disturbing subject matter and intense imagery, this show is not suitable for young children.
