When a poor man loses his mind, he thinks he is a KING, but when a KING loses his mind, who does he think he is?A spoiled kid who suddenly wakes up at night......starts to laugh and to demolish the world..... throwing into chaos the mechanisms of power, desire....and greed... which regulate man's violent nature.
He, the king's heir, from the top of the pyramid, like a jester, piece by piece, brick by brick, starts to demolish the pyramid itself.....going down with it...
Faced with reality, with certain irremediable events such as death, the loss of a love....the heart and the brain go insane, they need to find new escapes and new logics so as to lessen the pain.
Is laughing the answer of conscience to tragedy? Laughing at crying. Laughing at death. Laughing at abandonment. Laughing at betrayal. Laughing at folly. Every feeling has a mouth and I want to make their mouths laugh! Every life is the mirror of life. "Look at yourself," Hamlet once said to Ophelia, "look at yourself in me ....how can you not laugh at yourself?"
