Yekel returns home in the middle of the night and tells his wife Zelda that Rabbeinu Gershom's decree has been cancelled. From now on any Jew can marry a number of wives so that they can use their dowries to pay up the debt to the poretz - the land owner owed by the village. Zelda arouses all the village women to battle, with who knows what consequences.
