This is the story of Meyer Lansky, Jew, one of the Mafia dons in New York during the 1920s.
The story takes place at the time of Lansky's visit to Israel in the early 1970s. It centers on Lansky's efforts to receive Israeli citizenship through The Law of Return and thus evade the arm of the American law that sought to incarcerate him. Meyer Lansky makes a scathing reckoning with the Israeli leadership who, according to him, betrayed him.
