Dr. Seuss has given generations of children, and those who read to them, the gift of imagination. In his world, elephants can hatch eggs, entire towns can exist on a speck of dust, and one person can have the courage to save an entire world. In his world, a bird with just one feather can learn the hard way to be satisfied with the blessings she has. In his world, the good inside the human soul is challenged and emerges triumphant, time after time. It is a beautiful world.

Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have adapted some of Dr. Seuss' most beloved stories and woven them into a touching musical. Seussical, which is largely based on Horton Hears a Who, premiered on Broadway in 2000. Since then, it has become one of the most popular shows in America, being performed countless times in regional theaters and tours across the country. The warmth and energy of this show have made it a much beloved modern musical. Come and see why.

Seussical is not just for kids! It certainly is appropriate for ages 6 to 120 and beyond. Our production boasts a cast of 21, with young professional lead actors, talented amateurs, and a live band. For two hours of musical theatre magic, Seussical is just what the Dr. (Seuss) ordered.

The show opens on January 12th, in Jerusalem, and will be coming to a theater near you. For the full schedule, more about the show, and to order tickets, visit: http://israel-theatre.com, or call 077-450-6012.
