The Akko Theatre Center, where Jewish and Arab artists cooperate will present the 16th Masraheed Festival, the first and big festival for plays in Arabic which allows communication and connection between both sides.

This activity reflects the coexistence in the city that always lives in such a state.

The 2017 Masraheed Festival, produced by The Akko Theatre Center led by director Moni Yosef and artistic directors Smadar Yaaron and Khaled Abu Ali (who is also the festival's director), will take place between October 17-19, 2017, at the halls of the theatre center.

This year, as always, the festival will discuss subjects that are on the minds of the Arab society in Israel, from personal to collective social issues.

The satire, sting and social saying will be presented this year especially using humor and sharp wittedness.
