By: Mar. 24, 2017

"Ordinary Days", an intimate, moving and funny musical for four actors and a piano. It tells the story of four young New York friends whose lives cross while they search for love, happiness, self fulfillment and taxis.
It is a story for anyone who ever struggled to appreciate the simple things in a complicated place, and is a celebration of New York City as a unique place in which millions of individual stories meet in unexpected ways.
Through a rhythmical series of songs and photos, "Ordinary Days" is a captivating musical that show how it's possible to grow up and still enjoy the view along the way.

A musical by Adam Gwon.

Director: Eidan Lipper.
Piano and Musical Direction: Arnon Ziv.
Translation: Shahaf Ifhar and Eidan Lipper.
Cast:
Naama Nachum- Claire.
Shahaf Ifhar- Jason.
Shani Shauli- Deb.
Ben Naftaly- Warren.

All four cast members are graduates of Hamaslul, Musical Theatre Academy in Tel Aviv, led by artistic director Eidan Lipper who is also the director of the musical and co-translated it with Shahaf Ifhar (who plays the role of Jason).

The reviews say: "An exciting and fruitful combination of high quality material and excellent performers... this is a production in which every moment, note and gesture seem as if hard work has been done around them and the result is no less than virtuoso. On stage lives a real, touching and believable humane reality." - Marat Parkhomovsky, Akhbar Ha'ir.

When the annoyingly optimistic Warren finds Deb's thesis notes in the street a sequence of events begins and changes not only the lives of the two of them but also of two other New Yorkers: Claire and Jason, a young couple who is moving in together in an attempt to put their past behind them and give a true chance for love.

April 18, 2017, the Cameri Caffe Theatre, at 21:00. For tickets, call 03-6060960 (Israel) or visit the Cameri Theatre website.
