KING LEAR Comes To Habima National Theater

Habima proudly presents William Shakespeare's King Lear! Performances will be held on November 27 and 28, 2019, December 22 and 23, 2019 as well as January 15, 2019.

Two aging fathers, one a king and the other his courtier, court the children who truly love them. Their blindness unleashes a tornado of pitiless ambition and treachery as family and state are plunged into a violent power struggle with shocking ends.

The brutal, moving an epic King Lear is considered to be one of the best tragedies of all time.
