English-Language Musical AH, JERUSALEM! to Play Weekly at Tower of David Through Sept.

Award-winning Hollywood/Broadway director, producer and playwright Bernie Kukoff and the Tower of David have teamed up to present Jerusalem's most unique English-language show, a fantastic tale of romance, history, and comedy. An outdoor performance at the most beautiful historical venue of the Old City of Jerusalem.

After a ghostly middle-of-the-night visit from a pushy ancestor, the Axelrods of Indianapolis find themselves on an unexpected time-tripping journey through Jerusalem. Along the way they find love in the time of King Solomon, escape danger at the hands of the Crusaders, and change history in a 1920s Jerusalem bus station.

The cast includes Nitzan Sitzer, Roni Yacobovitz, Miri Fraenkel, Josh Bloomberg, Lev Kerzhner, Gady Weissbart and Rosie Richman. The script is by Bernie Kukoff, Lucile Lichtblau and Alan Gelb; music and lyrics are by Danny Paller. Ah, Jerusalem! is directed by Bernie Kukoff with music direction by Danny Paller.

Ah, Jerusalem! runs at 65 minutes and will play at the Tower of David every Friday afternoon through September 2014. Performances will take place at the Open-air theater, Tower of David (next to Jaffa Gate of Jerusalem's Old City) every Friday afternoon - April 18-June 27 at 3pm July 4-September 5 at 4pm. Cost is 85NIS per person - discounts for groups/students/soldiers.
