The Break-Away Project Presents COMES A FAERY Staged Reading Tonight, Sept 30

By:

Following the success of their 'New American Musical Theatre Night', The Break-Away Project present a staged reading of 'Comes a Faery' by James McLindon.

"A single mother deployed overseas in an endless war. Her little girl left with a less-than- willing aunt. A cantankerous Irish fairy who may or may not have escaped from a favorite storybook. Has he come to keep the lonely child company ... or steal her soul?"

The reading will feature Silvia Napoleoni as Siobhan, Michael Heavey as Seaneen, Susan Barrett as Katie, Craig White as Raphael and Helena Byrne as Dr Neery. Comes a Faery will be directed by Helena Byrne with production assistant Karen Davidson Perrins.

James McLindon's play 'Comes a Faery' was developed at the 2010 Eugene O' Neill National Playwright's Conference, Sean Daniel's Directing. It is presently a finalist for the 2012 Humana Festival. For more about the play, visit www.jamesmclindon.com.

The reading is set for tonight, 30th September at 7.30pm in Centre for Creative Practices, 15 Pembroke St Lower, Dublin 2. Tickets: €6 members / €8.50 non-members. Click HERE.
