Roscommon Drama Festival Launches 23rd February

Roscommon Drama Festival 2012 will be officially launched next Thursday 23rd February, in Roscommon County Library.
There has already been an unprecedented enthusiasm for tickets for this year’s festival with some nights already close to selling out. Roscommon Drama Festival takes place this year from Friday 2nd to Saturday 10th March inclusive.
Now a much-anticipated feature of the spring programme, Roscommon Drama Festival showcases nine nights of award-winning performances by amateur groups from all over Ireland, all of whom are eager to win a nomination to the All-Ireland Drama Finals.
An exciting mix of theatre takes the spotlight offering something for all audiences, all under the eye of this year’s adjudicator, Brendan Murray.
