Jack L Brings Christmas Spirit to Roscommon Arts Centre, 12/10

It is a rare occasion that a singer can move you to the point of tears, but Kildare born Jack L is surely that singer. With a velvety voice that can go from soft and tender to beltingly brilliant in a matter of seconds, Jack L is one if Ireland's greatest hidden musical gems. He returns for his now annual trip to Roscommon Arts Centre this Friday 10th December for what will be a not-to-be-missed night featuring all his hits in his ‘Essential Collection Show'. Accompanied by his band, this promises to be a very special night to uplift the spirits for the coming year.
What a year 2010 has been for Jack: He's had success with a Top 5 album, a bestselling novel was built around his song lyrics by writer Anna McPartland, called "So What If I'm Not Broken", and he's enjoyed a critically acclaimed performance with the Brooklyn Philharmonic in Manhattan, in front of 15,000 people last summer. And to top all this off his had a nomination for "Male Vocalist Of The Year" at The Meteor Awards.
