Druid Returns To The Everyman With Its Critically Acclaimed Production Of WAITING FOR GODOT Druid returns to the Everyman from Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th March with its critically acclaimed production of Samuel Beckett's masterpiece Waiting for Godot, featuring a stellar cast: Garrett Lombard, Aaron Monaghan, Rory Nolan and Marty Rea.

On a bare road in the middle of nowhere, two world-weary friends await the arrival of the mysterious Godot. While waiting, they speculate, bicker, joke and ponder life's greater questions. As dusk begins to fall, two figures appear on the horizon.

Regarded as one of the most significant plays of the twentieth century, Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is a masterpiece that draws endless interpretations.

Multi award-winning Galway theatre company, Druid, present their acclaimed production of this seminal work, directed by Garry Hynes, and featuring members of the Druid Ensemble and the design team behind The Beauty Queen of Leenane and DruidShakespeare, at the Everyman, from Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th March, 7.30pm. An audio described and captioned performance will take place at 8pm on Friday 23rd for the blind, visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing.

Aaron Monaghan, cast member of Waiting for Godot will lead a free workshop for up to ten people at the Everyman on Friday 23rd March, from 2-4pm.

The two-hour workshop will look at: how the Druid Ensemble works, the text of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, and physical theatre in the context of Druid's production of Waiting for Godot

The workshop is open to those with at least one year's theatre experience (student/professional/amateur), over 18 years of age. Attendees that have seen Druid's production of Waiting for Godot will benefit most.
