This exciting concert is part of the festival launching the Irish Chamber Music Society,CROSSBONES members are Eoghan Kelly (trombone), Paul Frost (bass trombone), Phill Collins (piano/rhodes), Deirdre Frost (bass) and Stephen Kelly (drums). All the members of the group have performed with numerous Irish and international jazz musicians such as Phil Woods, Benny Golson, Louis Stewart, Curtis Fuller, Syd Lawrence Orchestra & Michael Buckley. Members of the group have also performed with major Irish talent such as Sharon Shannon, Declan O Rourke and John Spillane along with the RTE Symphony & Concert Orchestra, the Irish Film Orchestra, Ute Lemper, Curtis Stigers, Claire Martin and many, many more.

All of the compositions on the album were composed by the members of the group, as well as two pieces composed especially for the group by IFTA award winning Irish composer Brian Byrne & Bruno Heinen, a leading jazz musician on the UK scene.
