Tom Francis To Join The Search For The Next James Bond
Francis, Tom Francis has added himself to the list of hopefuls to play the secret agent.
Tom Francis, known best for the role of Joe Gillis in Jamie Lloyd's Sunset Blvd starring opposite Nicole Scherzinger, is throwing his hat in the ring to play James Bond, says Variety.
With casting supervised by Nina Gold, the film is still on the hunt to find who will play the next 007. Reps for Francis and Amazon MGM Studios reportedly had no comment.
Other rumored and unconfirmed actors include Jacob Elordi, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Louis Partridge, James Norton, Callum Turner and fan favorites Henry Cavill and Idris Elba.
Tom Francis, is an English actor and singer known for his roles on the West End and Broadway. For his performance as Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard, he won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical, and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
Francis made his debut in television as Clayton in the final season of the Netflix series 'You.' He made his film debut in Noah Baumbach's ensemble film 'Jay Kelly.'
