Feature: Five Theatre Companies to Perform in Festival Teater Yogyakarta

Five theatre companies participate to perform their production in Festival Teater Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Theatre Festival) organized by Taman Budaya Yogyakarta and UPTD Taman Budaya. From many theatre proposal submissions, 5 groups were chosen: 4 among them are from Yogyakarta, Central Java and one from Bandung, West Java.
According to the Organizer, this year is different than the previous year, as the participants selected from all over Java, not only local Yogyakarta.

Festival Teater Yogyakarta will be held 22 - 24 September 2016 in The Concert Hall inside Taman Budaya Yogyakarta in Sri Wedari Rd, Yogyakarta. All performances are free and open for public.

- Thursday, September 22, 2016
Bumi Srawung titled "Miru"
Sakatoya titled "Insan-Insan Malang"

- Friday, September 23, 2016
Saniji titled "Syair Tanpa Waton atawa Hompiah Alaihum Gambreng"
Forum Aktor Yogyakarta titled "Bank Pasar Rakyat"
- Saturday, September 24, 2016
Bandung Performing Art titled "Yang di Luar dari yang di Luar"
