For two special performances, Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana, welcomes Bubble Wonders, Friday, March 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Children watch spellbound as Akins creates bubble caterpillars, ice cream cones, bubble merry-go-rounds, kid in a bubble and more. Akins' bubble wizardry and hands-on performance encourages kids to be confident and persistent in life - to laugh and have a great time. The motto that Akins uses in his everyday life, "anything is possible" is stressed at every performance.
Geoff Akins has been entertaining and educating children for over 25 years. His gentle humor and gift of rapport with children have delighted audiences worldwide. His life-altering experiences as a teacher in Waldorf and Special Education inspired him to create The Bubble Wonders Show. Presenting over 300 times a year Akins travels all over the world as a motivational speaker, author and edu-tainer.The Bubble Wonders Show broke all previous attendance records at science museums in both Hong Kong and Israel. At home, he has been seen on ABC, CBS, NBC or on Comcast Cable Television. Clients include IBM, Toyota, Macy's, Allstate, Whole Foods and theNational Geographic Channel.
